Review: Ovation Law
Ovation Law is a law firm that has been around for the past few years with a practice in the credit report repair business. They were co-founded by two attorneys and are based in Jacksonville, Fl.
The company likes to point out that the two lawyers have more than 30 years of legal experience and focus on attempting to improve their clients' credit scores.
Ovation Law offers two levels of service.
One level is called the Essentials. A more expensive level is called "Essentials Plus," which sounds a little redundant. The company says that paralegals will guide clients through the process and answer questions as they arise.
The Good:
- Ovation Law has the legal backing and knowledge of attorneys.
- Paralegals, when available, can help customers and answer questions.
- They enjoy a "Satisfactory" rating with the BBB.
The Bad:
- Ovation Law is a relatively new company and does not have the track record as some other firms.
- Web site information can be misleading.
- Web site is hard to navigate.
The Ugly:
- Refund policy is vague and may only include the monthly fees, the initial retainer fee isn't included!
The refund policy and limited experience are factors that keep me from recommending Ovation Law as my first choice.
